Thieves- Dish Soap Bar
100% Coconut Oil with Citric Acid to help get rid of unwanted soap scum.
A dash of five potent botanicals and herbs including Clove, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Cinnamon and Rosemary for a herbaceous offering.
**Dish Soap Bars are NOT MEANT TO USE ON BODY - 100% coconut oil is VERY CLEANSING & although it will not hurt your skin, it will be too drying to use as a body bar. Dish Soap Bars have no extra oils remaining in the soap, so it will not leave oil residue on your dishes (thus why it is drying to the skin but AMAZING on your dishes!!).
Average bar weight - 5-6oz, as with many handmade products, each bar weight can vary slightly.
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Thieves EO, Citric Acid.
**No sodium hydroxide remains after the soap is mixed with the oils/fats and the soap has finished curing after 4-8 weeks.
-Allow to dry between uses on a well draining soap dish, do not let sit in water. With proper care, these handmade bars can last a lot longer than commercially made soaps.
-Keep soap away from direct running water as much as possible to avoid soap getting overly saturated and 'melting'.
ONLY FOR DISHES - DO NOT USE ON BODY. Wet brush/scrubby/sponge, rub on soap bar until sufficient suds form, use brush/scrubby/sponge to clean dishes, rinse well.
*If you experience any irritation, stop use immediately.*
About My Soap:
I make, create, test, design, package, & ship all my soaps. I have full control of the process and ingredients. All of my soaps are made with the traditional 'cold process' method.
I make all soaps from scratch, using Oils & Sodium Hydroxide (lye). This process allows the oils & lye to combine to become soap (through Saponification). The end result is TRUE & PURE soap like it has been made for hundreds of years. The saponification process completely changes the molecular structure of the oils & lye, so there is only pure soap with no chemicals.
I choose oils based on their properties, for example: coconut oil is very cleansing, shea & cocoa butter is very conditioning, etc. I choose additives based on their functions. Some additives can be omitted, so some are purely to make a soap more luxurious, bubbly, or just smell & look great!
