Cedarwood Indonesian Teakwood

Almond Oil Soap with Activated Charcoal, Kaolin Clay, & Silk

The "woodgrain" technique offers a fun & "manliness" look to this soap. The fresh woodsy smell of Cedarwood & Indonesian Teakwood makes you want to be a lumberjack!!

Average bar weight - 5-6oz, as with many handmade products, each bar weight can vary slightly.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Water, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Kaolin Clay, Sodium Lactate, Silk, Cedarwood EO, Indonesian Teakwood FO, Mica, Activated Charcoal, Titanium Dioxide.

Made 1/8/21

**No sodium hydroxide remains after the soap is mixed with the oils/fats and the soap has finished curing after 4-8 weeks.

Care Instructions:

-Allow to dry between uses on a well draining soap dish, do not let sit in water. With proper care, these handmade bars can last a lot longer than commercially made soaps.

-Keep soap away from direct shower stream or running water as much as possible to avoid soap getting overly saturated and 'melting'.

Usage Instructions:

Use a loofah, pouf or washcloth to maximize the lather when using soap in the shower or bath. For use as a body bar or hand washing.

*If you experience any irritation, stop use immediately.*

About My Soap:

I make, create, test, design, package, & ship all my soaps. I have full control of the process and ingredients. All of my soaps are made with the traditional 'cold process' method.

I make all soaps from scratch, using Oils & Sodium Hydroxide (lye). This process allows the oils & lye to combine to become soap (through Saponification). The end result is TRUE & PURE soap like it has been made for hundreds of years. The saponification process completely changes the molecular structure of the oils & lye, so there is only pure soap with no chemicals.

I choose oils based on their properties, for example: coconut oil is very cleansing, shea & cocoa butter is very conditioning, etc. I choose additives based on their functions. Some additives can be omitted, so some are purely to make a soap more luxurious, bubbly, or just smell & look great!
