I would most likely make this for myself. I have a couple reusable fabric totes that are supposed to be used for grocery shopping but somehow always end up carrying my yarn. Having a yarn tote would be great to use for my projects instead!

The first Saturday in October the is a StreetStore where the homeless shop for free. Approximately 1,000 people attended last year. I have donated 100's of items each each year and this year am also making bags for people to carry their items away.

I've just finished making the starlet bag, I used DK and a 4mm hook as I have so much yarn that isn't being used. The smaller yarn/hook meant many more stitches and many more rows, it took about two weeks in total (taking out break days) but I think it's come out rather nice! Thanks for the pattern!!
