Ingredients:
Flour
Egg
Pretzels
String Cheese

Start by putting your pretzels (I used half regular pretzels & half cheddar pretzels) in a food processor to grind them up. Pour them onto a plate.

On another plate, pour some flour.

Beat an egg in a bowl.

Cut your string cheese in half (it is easier to handle a half piece)

Take your string cheese half & dip it in Egg first. Roll it around to make sure it coats the cheese well.

Next, roll the cheese half in flour, coating the entire piece. Make sure to coat the ends.

Then, dip the cheese half in Egg AGAIN. Make sure to coat the entire piece again.

Lastly, place the cheese half in the pretzels but DO NOT ROLL the piece (this will remove the layers of egg & flour already on the piece). Gently PAT the pretzel crumb over the piece, paying close attention to coat the entire piece. The better the cheese is coated will enable the cheese to stay IN the coating & not ooze out when baked.

This is what a completely coated cheese stick will look like.

While you are coating the rest of the cheese sticks, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Ready for baking.
This is where you will have to play with the time. I baked these for 10 mins, turning them once half way through. The cheese started to ooze in a couple places, but I could have kept them in a bit longer. So I would say any where from 8-12 minutes.

Mmmmmm...hot yummy melted cheese with a crunchy pretzel coating....sooooo delicious!!!
