GIANT Spiderweb Decor

This GIANT Spiderweb will give your house the perfect SPOOKY look for Halloween! It is very fast & easy to work up! You can make them in all different sizes & put them all over your house - outside & in!
Materials
Worsted weight yarn (#4)
  • Red Heart Super Saver
5.5mm Hook

Notes
  • To make an even LARGER spiderweb, you can use a 6.5mm hook & hold 2 strands of WW yarn.

Special Stitches
  • Dtr - Double Triple (Treble) Crochet: Yo 3x, insert hook in st & pull up loop, (yo & pull through 2 loops) 4x.

Giant Spiderweb Decor pattern

 Rnd 1) Ch 10 (1st ch counts as center ring, next 4 chs count as Dtr, last 5 chs count as ch-5 sp), (dtr, ch 5) in 1st ch 5 more times, join with sl st to 4th ch from center ring. {6 dtr with 6 ch-5 sps in bet}

Rnd 2) Ch 14 (1st 4 chs count as Dtr & last 10 chs count as ch-10 sp), (dtr in next dtr, ch 10) 5 more times, join with sl st to 4th ch of beg ch 14. {6 dtr with 6 ch-10 sps in bet}

Rnd 3) Ch 19 (1st 4 chs count as Dtr & last 15 chs count as ch-15 sp), (dtr in next dtr, ch 15) 5 more times, join with sl st to 4th ch of beg ch 19. {6 dtr with 6 ch-15 sps in bet}

Rnd 4) Ch 24 (1st 4 chs count as Dtr & last 20 chs count as ch-20 sp), (dtr in next dtr, ch 20) 5 more times, join with sl st to 4th ch of beg ch 24. {6 dtr with 6 ch-20 sps in bet}

Rnd 5) Ch 29 (1st 4 chs count as Dtr & last 25 chs count as ch-25 sp), (dtr in next dtr, ch 25) 5 more times, join with sl st to 4th ch of beg ch 29. {6 dtr with 6 ch-25 sps in bet}

Rnd 6) Ch 34 (1st 4 chs count as Dtr & last 30 chs count as ch-30 sp), (dtr in next dtr, ch 30) 5 more times, join with sl st to 4th ch of beg ch 34. {6 dtr with 6 ch-30 sps in bet}

Rnd 7+) Continue in this manner, increasing each ch-sp by 5 chs, until you get to the desired size spiderweb.
Fasten off 

To attach your spiderweb:
  • Cut long lengths of yarn & attach one end to each of the 6 dtr.
  • Attach the other ends of the lengths of yarn to where you are hanging your spiderweb - making sure to keep the spiderweb taught & shaped like a spiderweb.
